Users will be provided with a customizable table to input the logic for taxation based on various criteria such as currency, stock, country, and broker.
Proposed Functionality:
A user-friendly table will allow for easy input of tax rates and logic by the user.
Users can specify different withholding tax rates, such as:
21% for USD stocks,
25% for Broker X,
22% for specific Stock Y.
This feature will facilitate automatic tax calculations by the system based on the defined rules.
Impact:
This functionality will serve as the foundational element for comprehensive tax handling within the platform, paving the way for subsequent features related to dividend tax, capital gains tax, and more.
This functionality is now live!
The first part of the feature is available for the Dividend Log under the Dividends tab in the Dashboard. System now automatically computes the withholding tax based on the rules defined in:
