Dividend features

Completed

As a dividend investor, I would like to be able to see a graphic of my monthly historical dividends, a graphic with the historical dividends per stock/ETF and be able to see the amount on those graphics before and after taxes.

Thanks! I thought if I added a tax rules it would calculate 15 % on what I received and not on what I should have received.

    We've completed this feature. ✅

    You can now:

📅 View historical monthly dividends in a dynamic, interactive chart.

🏦 Switch to a "Per Stock/ETF" view to analyze how each investment contributes.

💰 Toggle between before-tax and after-tax amounts using a simple switch.

📉 Visualize totals (converted into your selected or default currency) right above the charts.

🔁 Switch chart type between bar and line for monthly view.

🧮 All values are automatically adjusted for FX rates if needed, so your totals are always meaningful.

The tax amount is not working properly, at least with my broker Alpaca. The amount on received dividends shows them amafter the withhold taxes of 15% , instead of the full amount. The tax amount shows 0, when it should be the 15% of the total amount received.

Have you had a chance to configure your withholding tax settings? You can set up the tax rules based on broker, currency, country, or even individual stocks here:

Once set up, the system should correctly reflect the 15% withholding tax on your dividend income. Let us know if you need help setting it up!

Ohhh I didn't know I could do that!! I thought I had to do one rule per ETF! Thanks a lot.

Like I thought, it doesn't work. For example if my broker Alpaca sent me 1000 USD as dividend and I have 15% of withhold taxes , now it shows me that I received 850 USD and paid 15% taxes, which is not true. What really happened is this example is that they paid 1176 USD as dividend, which they withhold 15% and the amount that I received netto was 1000 USD. You need to change your formula to this: Gross Amount = Net Amount ÷ (1 - Tax Rate)
Example: If Net = $1,000 and Tax Rate = 15%
    Gross = 1000 ÷ (1 - 0.15) = 1,176.47

That way when I open the dividend tracker I know what was the true amount paid and what I received after taxes. That is important for me to have an idea because of ROC refund.

    Thanks again for the feedback!

Just to clarify — dividends in Allinvestview are usually treated as gross amounts (before tax). If you’ve set up a withholding tax rule, we then calculate and display the net received and the tax withheld.

Could you confirm whether the dividend amounts reported in your account (e.g., via Alpaca) are gross or already net of tax? This will help us make sure everything is working as expected — and your input is always appreciated!

It is the net amount. They don't even say how much I get in total (gross amount). They display the net amount as the dividend and they inform the withhold amount, if I want to know the gross amount, I have to add them.

Another problem is that not all dividends are showing over there. For example my CONY ETF is not showing.
