Supporting Shorting and Options Income

Short positions would be great!

Thanks very much for implementing Options income. The entries work great but it doesn't seem to be possible to close out positions other than by exercising them or confirming that they expired worthless. It would be great if there was an option to close out the option depending upon the premium received.

Short Positions & Options Income Now Supported! ✅

We're happy to let you know that short positions and options income are now fully supported on the platform.
What you can now do:
- Short Options & Stocks - negative quantity for short, positive to cover
- Sell to Open - Log CSPs, covered calls, or any short option position by entering a negative quantity
- Buy to Close - Close your short positions and see the realized P&L (your options income)

Example workflow:
-Sell to Open CSP on SPY: Enter quantity = -1, premium = $150
-Buy to Close: Enter quantity = +1, price = $50
Result: Platform shows $100 realized gain (options income) ✅

What you'll see in the dashboard:
-Correct unrealized P&L while position is open
-Realized return when you close the position
-Works seamlessly with the Cash Account feature (premium received adds to your cash balance)

No workarounds needed anymore! The platform correctly tracks short positions as liabilities and calculates returns based on the premium received.
