Getting Started
What is AllInvestView?
AllInvestView is a portfolio tracker built on your full trade history. It covers stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, options, crypto, cash accounts, real estate and custom assets in one place, across 60+ markets and 73 currencies. On top of that record it gives you performance, allocation, dividend, risk and tax reporting.
Is AllInvestView free to use?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 1 portfolio, 10 holdings, 5 bond or cash entries, 2,500 transactions, tax reports, 3 active alerts and the AI assistant, with no card required and no time limit. Paid plans raise the holding and portfolio limits and add broker connections and the advanced analytics.
How do I add my investments?
There are three ways, and most people use more than one:
  • Manual entry: add a trade with its date, quantity and price
  • File import: upload the export from your broker and let the importer read it
  • Broker connection: link a supported broker so trades and cash arrive on their own (paid plans)
Do I have to enter my whole trade history?
No, but it is worth it. Cost basis, realised gains, holding periods and tax reports are only as good as the trades behind them, so a portfolio entered as today's positions shows the right current value but not a true return. If all you have to hand is your current positions, add those now and backfill the older trades when you get the export.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. AllInvestView is on the App Store and Google Play, and the same account works on both. The website also works in any phone or tablet browser if you would rather not install anything.
Features
What types of assets can I track?
Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, options, cryptocurrencies, forex, cash accounts, real estate, and custom assets for anything you want to value yourself, such as private equity or collectibles. Search by ticker, ISIN or name when you add a holding.
Can I connect my broker so trades arrive automatically?
Yes, on paid plans. Around 30 brokers connect for automatic sync, including Interactive Brokers, Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, Trading 212, DEGIRO and Questrade. The connection is read-only and handled by a regulated financial data provider, so we never see or store your broker login. See the full broker directory
How does dividend tracking work?
Dividends are picked up per holding and booked against the shares you actually owned on the relevant dates, so you get the history, a calendar of what is coming, yield on cost and a forward income estimate. Withholding tax rules can be set per country so the net figure matches what lands in your account. You can also enter dividends by hand for anything not covered automatically.
Does AllInvestView really handle bonds?
Yes, properly. Bonds are priced from a government yield curve with a spread, and each position shows yield to maturity, duration, convexity and accrued interest. You can add a bond from its parameters, such as coupon, maturity, payment frequency and day count, even when there is no live market quote for it.
Can I track options, including the wheel strategy?
Yes. Options carry Greeks and payoff diagrams, and an option is tracked together with its underlying shares, so a covered call shows the profit and loss of the whole position rather than two unrelated lines. Wheel cycles are grouped, so you can see the premium collected across the full sequence of cash-secured puts, assignment and covered calls.
Can I have several portfolios and several currencies?
Yes. Keep separate portfolios per broker, per account type or per family member, and view any combination of them together as one. Each holding keeps its own trading currency and is converted to your display currency at daily rates, so a portfolio spread across USD, EUR and GBP still adds up to a single number.
What tax reports can I generate?
Capital gains lot by lot using FIFO, LIFO or average cost, plus a dividend income report. Tax rules are configurable per jurisdiction, covering rates, progressive brackets, holding period conditions, wash sale windows and loss carryforward, with ready-made presets for 14 countries. Reports export for your accountant. We are not tax advisors, so review the figures before filing.
What does the AI assistant do?
It works on your own data with a set of built-in tools. It can add trades from a photo or a file, correct a price or a currency that came in wrong, explain any number on the dashboard, build a report and set alerts. Anything that would change your data is shown to you first and only happens when you confirm it. It is included on every plan, Free included.
What analytics are included?
The analytics cover:
  • Time-weighted and money-weighted returns
  • Allocation by asset class, sector, country and currency
  • Benchmark comparison against indices such as the S&P 500 and MSCI World
  • Drawdown and risk metrics
  • Rebalancing suggestions against your target allocation
  • Monte Carlo simulation and Efficient Frontier optimisation
  • Portfolio X-Ray, which looks through funds to the underlying exposure
Can I track crypto and forex?
Yes. Add crypto using the pair format, for example BTCUSD or ETHUSD, and forex the same way, for example EURUSD or GBPJPY. They appear in the same dashboard, allocation charts and performance reporting as everything else.
Can I set alerts?
Yes. An alert can watch a price level, a percentage move, a holding growing past a weight you are comfortable with, a drawdown, or a dividend that is due. Alerts run on our servers, so they fire whether or not the app is open, and reach you by email or mobile push.
Pricing & Plans
What plans are available?
Four: Free, Starter, Advanced and Pro. Each step raises the holding and portfolio limits and adds features such as broker connections, the advanced analytics and the advisor console. A one-time Lifetime Deal is also available. Current prices and the full comparison are on the pricing page.
What are the Free plan limits exactly?
1 portfolio, 10 holdings, 5 bond or cash entries, 2,500 transactions and 3 active alerts. Tax reports and the AI assistant are included. If you end up over a limit later, nothing is deleted: your data stays and the limit only applies to what you add next.
Can I try the paid features before paying?
Yes. New accounts start on a 14-day Advanced trial with no card required. If you subscribe during the trial, the remaining trial days stay free and your card is only charged when the trial ends, so you can cancel before then and pay nothing. There is also a 14-day money-back guarantee.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is charged, because no card was taken, and nothing is deleted. Holdings above the Free limit stay visible and the limit applies to what you add next.
What is the Lifetime Deal?
A one-time payment for permanent access to the paid features, with future updates included and no recurring subscription. It suits people who expect to be tracking the same portfolio for years and would rather not think about it again. Availability and price are shown on the pricing page.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, from your account settings, with no cancellation fee and no need to contact us first. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account moves to the Free plan. Your data stays either way.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards through Stripe, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay in most regions. Crypto payment is available for the Lifetime Deal. Invoices and receipts can be downloaded from your billing settings at any time.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes, at any time. Before you confirm, Stripe shows when the change takes effect and any prorated charge or credit. If you switch twice in quick succession and the billing looks wrong, contact us and we will fix it.
Data & Security
Is my financial data secure?
All traffic is encrypted in transit, broker credentials are never stored by us, and broker connections are read-only by design rather than by policy. Your portfolio is not sold, shared or used for advertising, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers on our public pages.
Can a broker connection place trades or move my money?
No. The connection is read-only, which is a property of the connection itself, and there is no path in the product that places an order or transfers cash. Some brokers still show a broad permission screen while you connect, because that is their standard consent form. You can revoke the connection from your broker or from your settings here at any time.
Do you train AI on my portfolio?
No. Your portfolio and your conversations with the assistant are not used to train AI models. The assistant reads your data to answer the question you asked, and that is the end of it.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Holdings, transactions, cash, options and tax reports export as CSV, Excel or PDF, at any time and on any plan. The record is yours, so leaving never costs you your history.
How do I delete my account?
From your account settings, without having to ask us. Deleting removes your portfolios, trades and personal data. Export anything you want to keep first, because the deletion cannot be undone.
Technical
How does the CSV import work?
Upload the export from your broker and the importer works out the format, reads the columns and shows you every row it found before anything is saved. 28 broker formats are recognised on sight, and for anything else you can map the columns yourself, paste rows straight in, or use the generic CSV layout. Go to the import page
My broker's file is not recognised. What now?
Send the file to us and we will add the format and let you know once it is in. That is how the current list was built, one broker export at a time. In the meantime the column mapper will get the same file in. Send us the file
Which currencies and exchanges are supported?
73 currencies and 60+ markets, including NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, Euronext, XETRA, SIX, TSX, ASX, HKEX and the Nordic and Iberian exchanges. If a security has a ticker or an ISIN it is very likely supported, and if something is missing you can ask us to add it.
How often do prices update?
Prices refresh continuously in the background during market hours, and the closing price is stored for every supported market so your history stays consistent. You can also force a refresh from the dashboard whenever you want the latest quote.
One of my holdings shows a value about 100 times too high. Why?
That is almost always pence against pounds: some UK and South African securities quote in a sub-unit while the trade was booked in the main currency unit. Ask the AI assistant or tell us which holding it is, and the price history and the position get corrected. It is a data issue on that one instrument, not a problem with your trades.
Which languages is AllInvestView available in?
The site is available in 9 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Chinese. Support is handled in English and Spanish.
Can I suggest new features?
Yes, and a good part of what is in the product started that way. Post an idea or vote on existing ones on the feature request page, and you get a notification when something you voted for ships.
