Currently, the portfolio metrics display the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) by default. While IRR is a great indicator of performance for long-term portfolios, it may not be as relevant for newer portfolios, particularly for users who have only been active for a short period of time.
To address this, we are introducing an option that allows users to choose between viewing the simple return (total cumulative return) or the IRR in the top metrics box of the dashboard. This flexibility will enable users to get a more accurate picture of their portfolio’s performance based on their investment duration.
Feature is completed.
Now we can toggle between IRR and Simple Return in the dashboard. An user setting has also been added to default the selection.
