Duro Felguera, S.A. engages in the execution of turnkey projects for the energy and industrial sectors in Spain, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and internationally. It operates through Conventional Energy, Industrial Plants, Specialized Services, Renewable Energy, and Intelligent Systems segments. The Conventional Energy segment executes EPC projects or integrations; processes for power generation plants, such as gas turbine plants and conventional thermal plants, as well as cogeneration plants, renewable energy plants, biomass plants, and waste-to-energy plants. The Industrial Plants segment is involved in the construction of mineral processing facilities; bulk handling, port loading, and unloading terminals; feasibility studies, basic design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of the facility; and installations and integration mode for the oil and gas sector. This segment also engages in the engineering and construction of storage projects for hydrocarbons, liquefied gases, and other petrochemical products; and manufacture of large, thick pressure vessels and special materials and alloys, for the oil and gas, petrochemical, and nuclear sectors. The Specialized Services segment is involved in the assembly, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of energy, and industrial facilities. The Renewable Energy segment engages in the development, integration, construction, and promotion of photovoltaic park projects. Duro Felguera, S.A. was founded in 1858 and is headquartered in Gijón, Spain.
