African and Overseas Enterprises Limited, through its subsidiaries, engages in the fashion retail, property, media and broadcasting, and water infrastructure businesses in South Africa, Rest of Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia. The company involved in the retail sale of ladies' and men's clothing, shoes, costume jewellery, cosmetics, and related fashion accessories through Queenspark outlets in South Africa. It also owns and manages a property portfolio investment and owner-occupied properties; provides media and satellite equipment and services; and offers private water and wastewater utility services. In addition, the company engages in the installation of satellite transmission equipment; radio and television signal distribution; supply of microwave and satellite news gathering services, including broadcasting, studio recording, and other ancillary services; and providing of communication services and connectivity solutions in the broadcasting and telecommunications industry.
