🧾 Earnings Recap – Q2 2026

Kraft Heinz’s shares edged up modestly by 1.4% following Q2 results, reflecting cautious investor reception amid gradual consumption improvements but ongoing challenges in market share and margin pressures.

  • Consumption declined approximately 2.5% in Q2 but showed signs of improvement with July tracking around -1%, indicating a gradual recovery underway.
  • Market share losses narrowed to 30 basis points in the first half, down from a 90 basis point loss earlier in 2025, though progress in Q2 versus Q1 was limited.
  • Management acknowledged continued headwinds from SNAP-related disruptions, which pressured market share as anticipated.
  • Incremental investments aimed at growth and margin expansion intensified in the second half of 2026, with early positive signals from product lines like Capri Sun Hydrate and PowerMac & Cheese.
  • Inflation is expected at 4-5% next year, with the company focused on offsetting this through productivity gains, though the margin trough timing remains uncertain.
