The AI you already use can now read your real portfolio.

Connect AllInvestView to ChatGPT or Claude and ask about what you actually own: holdings and cash across your portfolios, what you paid, what it is worth today, the dividends landing next month, your options and bonds, and what the tax looks like. Then tell it to do something about it. Changes are applied in your account, and you can undo them by asking.

Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Cursor.

How to connect

Two minutes, once. After that your assistant remembers the connection.

ChatGPT

On the web. Developer mode is available on paid plans; in a workspace an admin may need to allow it.

  1. Turn on Developer mode

    Click your name at the bottom left, then Settings, Security and login, and switch on Developer mode. Custom MCP servers only appear once this is on.

  2. Go to Plugins

    Open ChatGPT Plugins and press the plus button to add a developer-mode app.

    The Plugins panel, where a developer-mode app is added. Screenshot lands right after launch.
  3. Name it AllInvestView and paste the server URL

    Any name works. The URL has to be exact.

    https://www.allinvestview.com/mcp
  4. Approve on the AllInvestView screen

    You land on AllInvestView, sign in if you are not already, and see exactly what the connector will be able to do. Approve it and you are connected. Ask it something straight away.

    The consent screen, and the first answer about a real portfolio. Screenshot lands right after launch.

Claude

On claude.ai, same idea, one screen shorter.

  1. Settings, then Connectors

    Choose Add custom connector.

  2. Paste the same URL and approve

    Claude sends you to AllInvestView for the consent screen, the same as above.

    https://www.allinvestview.com/mcp

Claude Code

One command in your terminal, then approve in the browser.

claude mcp add --transport http allinvestview https://www.allinvestview.com/mcp

Cursor

Add the server to your MCP configuration.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "allinvestview": {
      "url": "https://www.allinvestview.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Everything the app tracks, answerable in a sentence

Your portfolios are already synced from your brokers and kept up to date. The connector gives your assistant the same picture, so you can ask in plain language instead of clicking through screens.

What it can read

  • Holdings and cash across every portfolio
  • Cost basis, realised and unrealised gains
  • Performance against any benchmark, over any period
  • Dividends received and dividends coming up
  • Options positions, premium, Greeks and assignment risk
  • Bonds, coupons, yields and maturity ladder
  • Tax figures for your country, including capital gains and withholding
  • Broker sync status and anything that needs your attention

What it can do

  • Set, change and clear price alerts
  • Fix a wrong trade or add one you forgot to record
  • Change the benchmark, the base currency or portfolio settings
  • Import a broker file you have uploaded
  • Create portfolios and move holdings between them
  • Update your dividend and capital gains tax rules

Every change is reversible. Ask your assistant to undo it and the account goes back to how it was. Deleting trades or a whole portfolio still happens in the app, on purpose.

Things worth asking

No special syntax. Ask the way you would ask a person who has your statements in front of them.

  • Which of my holdings pay a dividend next month?
  • Compare my portfolio against the S&P 500 since inception.
  • Set an alert if NVDA drops 8%.
  • What tax would I pay if I sold my Apple position today?
  • Add the 20 ASML shares I bought on Tuesday at 612 euros.
  • Which of my covered calls could get assigned this month?

Where your data goes

Whatever your assistant asks for is sent to that AI provider, the same as anything else you type into it. You decide what to ask, and nothing leaves AllInvestView unless a question calls for it.

The connection is yours to end. Revoke it from your account page and the assistant loses access immediately, no need to change your password.

Before you connect it

What is an MCP server for an investment portfolio?

MCP is a standard way for an AI app to reach a service you already use. Ours sits in front of your AllInvestView account, so instead of pasting numbers into a chat you point the assistant at your portfolios and ask. The data it sees is the same data you see when you log in.

Which AI apps work with it?

ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Cursor all connect today. Anything else that speaks MCP over HTTP works too, with the same server URL and the same approval screen. There is nothing to install on your computer.

What can it read, and what can it change?

It reads holdings, cash, cost basis, performance, dividends, options, bonds and your tax figures. It can also act: price alerts, trade corrections, portfolio settings, tax rules and imports. Every change is reversible: say undo and the last change is taken back, while deleting trades or a whole portfolio still happens in the app.

Does my portfolio data leave AllInvestView?

Only what you ask about. That part goes to the AI provider you are using, the same as anything else you type into it. You can revoke the connection from your account page whenever you want, and access stops straight away.

Who can use it, and does it cost extra?

The connector is part of the Pro plan, so if you are on Pro you can turn it on today. There is no extra fee and nothing to pay per question. On another plan, upgrading is the only step.

Part of the Pro plan

Connecting an AI app is included with Pro, alongside broker sync, tax reports and the rest of the analytics. If you are on another plan you can upgrade in a couple of clicks.

This is the first version of the connector. More of what the app can do will reach it over the next few months.
