What SigFig Offers

SigFig's proposition is unusual among robo-advisors: they manage your money without moving it, at your existing Fidelity or Charles Schwab account. The first $10,000 is managed free, 0.25% a year applies above that, the minimum is $2,000, and unlimited access to human investment advisors is included at no premium.

Where SigFig Works Well

  • First $10,000 managed free, then 0.25% a year, entering at $2,000
  • Automated portfolio management with rebalancing
  • Diversified ETF portfolios with risk-based allocation
  • Free portfolio tracking for non-managed accounts
  • Hands-off approach for passive investors

What SigFig does not cover

  • US clients only, and international stocks are unsupported: they cannot be reported, updated or added to a manual portfolio
  • Limited features for active or self-directed traders
  • Tax documents come from your brokerage, not from SigFig
  • Shows a bond or an option your broker sends it, ticker and price only, and prices neither
  • No formal capital gains tax reports for international investors
  • The free tracker carries four features: account sync, portfolio tracking, reporting dashboards and external portfolio analysis

  • Lifetime Deal: $497 one-time, no recurring fees.

Asset Coverage

SigFigPartial

Manages diversified ETF portfolios. The tracker lists bonds and options from synced accounts as a ticker and a price, without gains, losses or price changes, and neither can be added to a manually built portfolio. International stocks are unsupported.

AllInvestViewFull

Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, individual bonds (with YTM and duration), options (with Greeks), crypto, forex, real estate and custom assets.

Fee Structure

SigFig% of assets

Free for tracking. Managed accounts pay nothing on the first $10,000 and 0.25% a year above it, so a $250,000 portfolio costs $600 a year, every year.

AllInvestViewFlat

Free tier (10 holdings); paid plans $6.99-$24.99/month annually; or Lifetime Deal at $497 one-time. Flat pricing that does not scale with portfolio size. On any portfolio over roughly $200k, the math favors AllInvestView against SigFig's 0.25% fee.

Geographic Coverage

SigFigUS only

US clients only.

AllInvestViewGlobal

Available in 9 languages. Broker integrations span the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia and Asia. Capital gains rules cover fourteen countries.

Inside AllInvestView

Your accounts on a past date

The free SigFig tracker is deliberately narrow and does its four jobs well: it syncs your brokerage accounts, tracks the portfolio, gives you reporting dashboards and analyses the accounts held outside the managed service. Balances refresh overnight and appear in one place.

All of that is here as well, the linked accounts, the consolidated value, every holding and its weight. A past day also recomputes the balance, the total return, the money-weighted rate of return, the dividends banked to that point. It also gives each position its weight on that date, using daily prices stored per instrument. The 31 December 2025 position can be produced later without a saved snapshot.

Returns between dates you choose

SigFig computes return as a time-weighted figure adjusted for deposits and withdrawals, built out of the transaction history its custodians send. It comes from the broker records.

AllInvestView covers any custom period across every loaded portfolio. It gives you IRR, capital gain and dividend yield for that period. A banner names the two dates. The selected span covers the 2025 calendar year. Other periods can measure the eleven months since an approach changed, or compare one March with the next.

Where the tax arithmetic happens

SigFig leaves tax reporting to your brokerage. The documents keep arriving from the brokerage as before. In SigFig, each holding has one editable average cost per share. There are no lots to match or methods to compare. Your custodian keeps the legal record for managed money.

AllInvestView keeps the individual lots. It matches every sale to its buys under FIFO, LIFO, HIFO and average cost. It calculates all four methods together and shows the estimated tax for each. The chosen country supplies the rates, with rules included for fourteen jurisdictions. Realised tax comes from closed disposals. Open holdings have no current Tax Owed amount. If sold gives an estimate for a sale today. The finished report exports as PDF, Excel or CSV.

Bond prices and analytics

SigFig can show a bond that your broker sends it. The ticker and the price appear and refresh overnight, without gains, losses or price changes beside them, and a bond cannot be added to a portfolio you build by hand. Fixed income is therefore present as a name and a number.

AllInvestView stores the coupon, maturity and ISIN. The government yield curve gives the spread the market implies over the sovereign curve in that bond's currency, then reprices the holding from that spread over time. This works even when a bond has a thin or missing quote. Five currencies have a curve, and the dollar curve comes from Treasury data. This Treasury has a 99.75 broker price. Its yield is 4.72% and its spread is 98 basis points. The panel below reports convexity, modified duration, current yield, interest accrued to date and the calibrating benchmark. Bonds fall outside the ten-holding limit that applies to the free tier.

Options prices and Greeks

Options follow the bond rule at SigFig. Contracts sitting in a synced account are listed with their ticker and their price, and gains, losses and price changes are not shown for them. The position is visible, but its risk measures are not.

In AllInvestView, a contract has its strike, expiry and a theoretical price that follows the underlying. Eleven supported structures include bull and bear verticals, straddles, strangles, a condor, and a covered call that continues into the wheel. Lone legs and butterflies are excluded. Each holding publishes delta, gamma, theta and vega of its own, with rho aggregated over the entire book. The dashboard detects a wheel and totals daily theta across its live legs. Win rate and upcoming expiries are shown too. Contracts do not count toward the ten holdings the free tier allows.

Questions Answered

Is SigFig a portfolio tracker or robo-advisor?

SigFig is primarily a robo-advisor (0.25% AUM) that actively manages investments, with free tracking tools as a secondary feature. AllInvestView is exclusively a tracking and analytics platform – no advisory service.

Does SigFig work outside the US?

No. SigFig serves US clients only, its latest Form ADV reports zero regulatory assets attributable to non-US persons, and the tracker does not support holdings outside the US. AllInvestView is available globally in 9 languages with multi-currency support and capital gains rules for 14 jurisdictions.

Can AllInvestView manage my investments like SigFig?

No. AllInvestView shows you allocation drift and suggests rebalancing trades but does not execute them. You execute manually in your broker. For active management, SigFig (or another robo-advisor) is the right choice.

What's a SigFig alternative without robo fees?

AllInvestView provides comparable tracking and analytics without any AUM fee. Choose a flat subscription ($6.99-$24.99/month) or the one-time Lifetime Deal at $497. You keep self-directed control plus bonds with YTM, options Greeks and multi-currency, with fourteen national rule sets for capital gains.

Does SigFig handle bonds, options, or crypto?

SigFig manages diversified ETF allocations. Its tracker can display a bond or option from a synced account as a ticker and price, while AllInvestView prices bonds off the government yield curve, tracks option contracts with Greeks and holds crypto directly.
