Frequently Asked Questions

Premium income is calculated from the net credit received when selling options. For a sold put or call, the premium is the amount you collected at entry multiplied by the contract multiplier (typically 100 shares). AllInvestView tracks both gross premium received and net P&L after accounting for any closing transactions, assignments, or rolls.
Yes. AllInvestView separates income by strategy type. You can see covered call premium income, cash-secured put income, and wheel strategy combined income independently. Each strategy shows its own monthly chart, total collected, and annualized return so you can compare which approach generates the best returns for you.
Yes. The income dashboard shows per-ticker statistics including total premium collected, number of trades, win rate, average premium per trade, and annualized return on capital. This helps you identify which stocks generate the most consistent premium income and which to focus your selling strategies on.
Annualized return on capital (ROC) is calculated by dividing the premium received by the capital at risk, then annualizing based on the number of days the trade was held. For a cash-secured put, the capital at risk is the strike price times 100 shares. For a covered call, it is the cost basis of your shares. This lets you compare the efficiency of trades across different timeframes.
Yes. AllInvestView tracks premium income from covered calls, cash-secured puts, credit spreads, iron condors, strangles, and any other strategy where you receive a net credit. The income tracker captures all premium-generating trades and provides consolidated and per-strategy views of your income.
