What Revolut does well

What people like about Revolut, and why they stay.

All-in-one financial app: banking, investing, crypto, and international transfers.

Commission-free stock trading (within monthly limits) for standard accounts.

Multi-currency support with listed FX rates.

Mobile-first interface with instant account opening.

The gap

What your broker leaves to you

Your broker is built for trading. The return, the tax figure and the view across accounts are what you get here.

The Revolut account puts investing beside banking, but not your full return across stocks, crypto and currencies.

Choose any start and end date. The dashboard recalculates capital gain, IRR and dividend yield for that period.

Revolut statements cover Stocks, ETFs, Crypto and Commodities in GBP and DKK for Individual. They do not compare tax lots under several cost-basis methods.

The tax report calculates gains with FIFO, LIFO, HIFO or average cost.

Revolut keeps Individual with Stocks and Commodities among 4 asset types in GBP and DKK. Holdings at another broker are outside that total.

Add the other accounts. The combined view totals them while keeping each account separate.

Review every row before you import it

A Revolut history often mixes small share purchases with crypto trades made from the same app.

Upload the transaction file and review the mapped columns and rows. Nothing is added until you confirm the import.

Frequent fractional purchases in Revolut can create a long trail of tax lots.

Choose FIFO, LIFO, HIFO or average cost. The report shows realized gains, unrealized gains, dividends and estimated tax.

Getting started

Getting your Revolut history in

1

Export from Revolut

Open Stocks > More > Statements in Revolut. Download the trading statement as CSV and upload it to AllInvestView.

2

Upload it

The importer reads the column layout on its own, identifies the securities and shows you every row before anything is saved.

3

Read your portfolio

Prices update daily, and dividends, corporate actions and splits are applied to the history you just brought in. Nothing else to keep up to date by hand.

Questions

Revolut and AllInvestView, answered

How do I import my Revolut stock trades into AllInvestView?
Export the transaction history as CSV and upload it. The review screen shows the mapped rows before anything is added.
Can AllInvestView track both my Revolut stocks and crypto?
Imported assets remain separate holdings in one portfolio. The dashboard reports allocation and return for each position.
How do I track my Revolut investment performance?
Choose any start and end date to calculate the return. The dashboard also shows the benchmark and each holding's contribution.
Does AllInvestView track dividends from my Revolut stocks?
Imported dividends appear in the income history and calendar. The report also shows withholding, net income and yield on cost.
Is the Revolut connection read only, and is it an aggregator?
There is no automatic connection for Revolut yet. You export your transaction history and upload the file, so nothing of yours is ever logged into.
Does it show my options with Greeks?
Revolut does not offer options, so there is nothing to read here from this account. If you trade options at another broker, add that account and the options dashboard covers it: delta, gamma, theta, vega and rho per position.
Which cost basis methods can I choose?
FIFO, LIFO, HIFO and average cost. You pick the method on the tax report and the whole report is recalculated, so you can see what each one would cost you before you sell.
How are several currencies handled?
Each position keeps the currency it was bought in. The portfolio is then valued in the base currency you choose, using the rate for the day, so the currency move is part of the return you read.
Can I bring years of history from a file?
Yes. Export the full transaction history from Revolut and upload it. The importer reads the column layout, identifies the securities and shows every row for review before anything is saved, so your cost basis and your returns start from the complete record rather than from today.
What does the free plan cover?
One portfolio and 10 stock holdings, with no card. Bonds, options and custom assets are not counted against that. Broker sync, more portfolios and more holdings are on the paid plans.
