Definition

A Dividend Aristocrat is an S&P 500 company that has increased its dividend for at least 25 consecutive years. These companies demonstrate exceptional financial stability and commitment to returning value to shareholders.

Formula

Qualification: S&P 500 member + 25+ consecutive years of dividend increases

Example

Coca-Cola (KO) has increased its dividend for 60+ consecutive years. Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) and Procter & Gamble (PG) are also long-standing Aristocrats. There are currently about 67 Dividend Aristocrats.
